Rockport Village Townhouses

The house was built in the spirit of New England colonial townhouse style. The townhouse is one of two units designed from the ground up to maximize energy efficiency, it's a custom modular that makes use of Energy-Star windows, lighting and appliances, thickly insulated walls and roof, and optimized electric heating zones to significantly lower energy consumption during the winter months.

It was placed in the middle of the property to maximize privacy both front and rear, and to permit off-street parking. Walk-in bulkhead entrances in the back permit access to the basement from outside. A farmer’s porch provides protection from the elements in the front, while a spacious patio deck allows one to entertain and barbecue directly from the dining room/kitchen.

Each unit has three bedrooms on dead-end street with ocean views from upstairs. The custom modular uses state-of-the-art energy efficient materials and building techniques. 2x6” framing with full R21 insulated walls (Nu-Wool cellulose), Energy Star Andersen windows, Energy-Star appliances. R40 tightly insulated roof. Large walk-in basement, great for storage. Open concept living with large kitchen with island, dining room, and living room spaces opening out on to patio deck and landscaped backyard. Quality materials throughout, stainless steel appliances granite countertops, Moen and Crane fixtures. Underground utilities, professionally landscaped.
